The San Diego-Imperial Council High Adventure Team meets the 4th Tuesday of each month (except July, August and December) at 7:00 PM at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 4324 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego, 92117. All registered Adult Scouters are encouraged to attend and learn more about the High Adventure Team. Come join us!

Current Events

Sept. 11- HALTT & WaterTrek courses begin, Session I (classroom), at Northminster.
14- HALTT & WaterTrek courses continue, Session II (classroom), at Northminster.
21- Trail Building, meet at Mataguay.
24- High Adventure Team meeting, 7:00 PM at Northminster.
28-29- HALTT course concludes, Session III, at Mataguay.
Oct. 5- Trail Building, meet at Mataguay.
5-6- Specialist course begins, "Leadership and Desert Skills".
12-13- Unit Backpack training weekend, at Mataguay.
19-20- Specialist course continues, "Desert Backpack to Anza-Borrego".
22- High Adventure Team meeting, 7:00 PM at Northminster.
26- Trail Building, meet at Mataguay.
Nov. 6- WaterTrek course continues, Session IV (classroom), at Fiesta Island.
9-10- Unit Backpack training weekend, at Mataguay.
  WaterTrek course continues, Session IV (on water), at Fiesta Island.
16- HALTT Recertification, at Northminster.
  Trail Building, meet at Mataguay.
26- High Adventure Team meeting, 7:00 PM at Northminster.

  • Interested in Philmont for 2025? Plan now to join a group from the San Diego - Imperial Council attending in 2025.
    There will be a trek with two crews. More information can be obtained from the Council. Additional details will be published here as information becomes available.
