Water Trek TrainingDescriptionThis 15-hour course prepares unit leaders to operate on flat and moving water. Leaders completing Sessions I, II, and IV receive a patch and numbered card. A trained adult with a current registration card must accompany units on all water outings for the unit to earn High Adventure Awards. All Water Trek specific classes, known collectively as "Session IV", are held at the Fiesta Island Youth Aquatic Center on Mission Bay. Water Trek Session IV weeknight session covers:
RE-TRAINING: Leaders must renew their Water Trek card every four years by repeating the first two meetings of Session IV. Particulars
ScheduleNOTE: Sessions I and II are attended by both Water Trek and HALTT students; classes are held at Northminster Presbyterian Church. Session IV is specific to Water Trek Training, with classes held at the Mission Bay location.
